About — Philosophy, Values & Mission

Lorenza Bas (Santiago de Chile, 1996) is an independent fashion designer and advocate of conscious fashion. She studied Fashion Design at the Universidad del Pacífico (Chile) and continued her training in Europe at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Italy) and Central Saint Martins (London).
Her work explores the dialogue between art and clothing, where garments become manifestations of aesthetic activism. Through conceptualization and experimental use of textiles, she seeks to redefine luxury as a medium for artistic expression and critical reflection.
I conceive garments as works of art — unique or produced in limited editions, designed as collectible objects that transcend fleeting trends. My practice centers on collaboration with artists, merging fashion and visual art to create multidimensional narratives.
The brand operates under a margin-over-volume model: fewer pieces, with greater value. True luxury lies in exclusivity, artistic narrative, and the craftsmanship behind each garment.
In material terms, my approach intertwines sustainability and creativity. I avoid using new textiles, working instead with deadstock, fabric remnants, vintage garments, or flawed materials, embracing limitations as a creative drive. What is often considered waste is transformed into artistic luxury pieces.
Among the projects that best embody the brand’s essence is Jamais Vu (2023) — a proposal that challenges the familiarity of fashion and reimagines it as an artistic and sensory experience. Inspired by the concept of perceiving the known as something new, Jamais Vu presents collections in an exhibition format, featuring interdisciplinary collaborations that invite the viewer to rediscover fashion.
Another highlight is the Cuerpos Celestes x Arturo Fermandois (2024) collection, which merges digital art and couture in a series of limited-edition pieces. Using sublimation technology, the collection translates Fermandois’s geometric patterns onto the body, exploring the relationship between complex geometry and human movement within a palette of white, black, and blue.
The visual narrative unfolds through superposition, geometric repetition, and transparency, where fabric comes to life through motion.
